I got Belkin Nostronomo n52 Speedpad and cant recommend it highly enough. Amazing for gaming, keys are laid out in same position as on kb. can prog each key 4 times. Can prog macro's (ie duck, move left, aim & hold aim for 2 secs all in 1 button press) In argos cat page 487. I'm sure its cheaper online. Will find reviews & post them. You'll not be disappointed if you buy.

Fancy keyboards are not aiding your game in the slightest if you ask me, they all do the same thing.

 I think so as well, but you obviously didnt look. It's not a keyboard, its a controller in the shape of your hand. Handy for lan partys. i put it on my left knee sometimes. Deadly control with it.

This is a great investment whether you buy a kb or not. You wouldn't believe how much more control ya have when ya get used to it. Well worth buyin IMO. Personally i'm not really in2 gaming kb's as i have a multi-media one.

you know what, i'd get that purely for the fact the've considered left handers. Although i'm not really sure what that extra pad could be used for... macros?

I have a spare Saitek Eclipse (blue LED)- just got a Logitech G15. I love the LCD, but the extra keys on the left aren't my cup of tea :(
I keep hitting them when I try to press CTRL, etc. and it's taken me a while to get used to them, but apart from that it's a nice keyboard.
I suppose when I start playing games again it'll start to be useful :)

zBoard keyboards are good. I've played with a couple of them on lan and i thought they did the job.

There is differences in run of the mill keyboards and gaming keyboards. There is a latency on keyboards of 30 odd ms or something, nothing big, but some keyboards (i think zboard ones) go down to 15ms or so. Might be worth having a look into if your serious about the performance

Just wondering does anyone know what the best wireless keyboard there is for gaming? I know wireless and extreme gaming aren't supposed to mix, but i'm not really an extreme gamer ;)

I'm looking for one that had backlit keys, silent keystrokes and wireless, also good for gaming (also with left handed support, I know i'm pushing it now)... does such a keyboard exist?
