Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Live Commentary on this game on the above site at the moment.

Funny listening to Americans commentating on football.

    The Chelsea "outside backs" etc

I'm watching it on ESPN. At least Tommy Smith isnt commenting. That guy is unbearable. Worst is the US commentators when they're shouting "That's a PK man" aaagh

    Joe Cole went off injured?

Commentator said something about him not being hit as hard since he got hurt by a page 3 girl's boyfriend in a London club last year....must've been a hard knock!

Jose is "Joe-Say" in Portuguese and is "Ho-say" in Spanish.

On the game, nice to see Chelski lose against a bunch of guys who never played together before. Yeah yeah yeah, we'll hear about the 'first game', 'rusty','new player gelling', 'friendly' excuses from the Chelski apologists now. But they shouldnt have lost to the MLS All-Stars.

Nice to see Ronnie O'Brien get a run out, almost scored too if not for Terry's block. Nice tackle by Ricardo Clark on Cole :p

On the commentators, yeah it's always fun to laugh at the US, but the terminology is just different. The stuff that gets me is that Dave O'Brien and his co-commntators e.g. Wynalda and especially Balboa NEVER STOP yapping about useless stuff all the time. Just shut up!

excellent, always wondered what happened to him after the email to vote for him as Juve's best youth player. Think he also ran Hitler and Bill Gates close in the Time magazine man of the century awards...
