    I have a 12" mac powerbook g4 which i use for graphic design. I also have a Dell Desktop PC which has only a 15" monitor, but I'm looking for a flatscreen monitor that will work well for graphics programs, with both my mac and PC, are there any that anyone recommends?

    I don't want to spend TOO much on it, but i reckon I have to spend about 200-350 to get a good monitor.

    If you doing graphic design then you will probably want a monitor that supports the full range of colours.

    You see a lot of current LCD displays sacrifice colour accuracy for a lower response time (this is required for computer gaming to avoid certain negative effects) and emulate the full colour range of 16.7m colours but really only support up to 16.2m.

    Here are some of the 19" displays on Komplett that have full 16.7m colour support and fall into your price range;

    http://www.komplett.ie/k/ki.asp?sku=323180 LG 19" M1917S

    Also Dell's E196FP also fits your needs not bad for €233 and 19" as well. But it only has a single analogue input. However if you are planning on using something like a KVM switch to handle both the Mac & PC on the same display then that doesn't make much of a difference.

    As for which one to get well the two IIyama displays have the same specifications which means they have the best contrast of the bunch and they tie with the Dell for brightness but they also come with DVI & VGA inputs. I'd probably go with one of the IIyama's if I cared about DVI if not then I'd go with the Dell as it has better brightness than the LG.

    I just ordered a Viewsonic VX2025wm, its a 20" widescreen monitor and has a P-MVA panel that supports the full 16.7million colours.

    It has a DVI and a VGA input so you could easily switch between your mac and your pc...

    It also won a Bit-Tech award and it gets great reviews on every site I have seen.

    Its available for €422 here its a bit out of your price range but its an ideal monitor for you

    I would second that recommendation for the Viewsonic VX2025wm, widescreen monitors are the way of the future.
