Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I'm sure you look fine and have no need of surgery, there are no quick fixes.

Jus put chicken fillets in ur bra

then after a few days, replace them, and pop the old ones on the pan for dinner

She didnt ask for your opinion lad, she wanted information. How do you know that a boob job will not be everything this woman needs?

Im sorry i cant give you any info. I dont have boobs nor work in the industry, but my housemates engineers fake boobs so maybe i can post you some and do it DIY?

Thanks for your help guys! I'm still quite young and i really don't want to go through the rest of my life with saggy boobs! I'm only talking about one size bigger. I'm a 34c, so just a bit fuller will suit me fine. Any ladies out there who have them done, please help.

Well if all that's happening is that they're sagging a little maybe you just need more of an augmentation and not a full on implant.

    Very helpful.

OP, if you find that your breasts make you feel very unhappy, and you can afford to make the change, then do it.

I've never had a boob job, but I've have had abdominoplasty, as I was sectioned twice previously. I'm very happy with the results, and it has restored my confidence.

I've heard implants need replacing after a certain amount of time, so run that past your consultant.

I think your best option is to go to your gp and he/she will refer you to a reputable surgeon. Better than anything you'll find on the internet.

think you should really think long and hard before you get surgery:( why put yourself through the pain. there is nothing wrong with boobs sagging a bit.... I mean this is totally natural as a woman ages anyway, and Im sure that most "decent " men dont mind a bit, not that you are getting it done for men or anything! and the fact that you gave birth to and breastfed 2 kids is brilliant and you should consider your sagging boobs as a kind of battlescar. anyway im sure if you gave it a bit of time, fat cells will replace some of the area in your boobs that was taken up by milk producing tissue. it probably just takes a while. ;)

Thanks for all the comments guys, but still no better off in the " who to do my boobs" department. Still bulling ahead with doing them, always had a fine pair, and to be honest I really miss looking down and not seeing them popping out!
My hubby on the other hand keeps telling me that their lovely the way they are , and he loves them (ah bless him), and will propably hate the new ones! This is of course driving me nuts, because i want them done for me not "him". He might love my body the way it is but i sure as hell dont. What do i do now, think im confusing myself more and more. Help Help Help:confused:

I have a friend that had it done. She had looked at a few places including one in Mullingar. She decided on the Blackrock Clinic which was priced almost the same as the others in the country. The surgeon that does breast implants there is one of the best in the world. She was in and out in 24 hours and recouperated within a week to a point where she could function almost normally. Within 6 weeks she could run again etc.

She said the level of care and treatment there was impeccable.

Well you said the following in another thread just yesterday...
    oshi wrote:
I agree with totally, his girlfriend obviously has deeper issues that wont be resolved by getting bigger boobs, she probably thinks that the boob job will change her life but after a while she'll probably want a nose job or face lift or botox or foot job or whatever else.

If that's not judging and presumption I don't know what is.

I don't see anywhere in her original post she asked for opinions, she asked for advice on clinics that is all.

OP: I've heard great things about the Blackrock Clinic in Dublin.

that sort of info is best if you get it yourself tbh. these things tend to be costed depending on many factors. its not a walk in walk out off the shelf type proceedure (actually, it is, but they still cost differently)

as for those who are doing the usual blah blah blahing, pipe down duckies.
the woman is looking for info on and advice on who can provide the service, not looking for you to tell her she doesnt need it.
if she feels she needs it, then thats up to her.

lulubell, did you find out the surgeons name? I'm considering blackrock clinic for my implants also.

No nothing yet. Must go to my local gp and see if he has any good surgeon in mind. Was giving the name of a good surgeon in Galway if thats any help! His name is patrick Regan, hes is supposed to be fantastic, but still thinking about blackrock.

I think its really sad that people feel the need to get implants. You say its for you not otherrs. But think about it - who decided that perky boobs were nicer in the first place? OTHER people. If i were you i would not get implants - they feel awful, seriously. They are so solid and don't move like normal boobs. Surely an uplift would be better. You should really go out and find someone with fake obnes and see if you can have a feel. Cos i'm telling you it can be a real shock. And you will have to have the op repeated every 10 years - not nice!

Sure its not Mark Regan, who is a general surgeon, you need a plastic surgeon

No its patrick/padraic Regan, consultant plastic surgeon. :D

Just a tip.If you get it done make sure to take arnica tablets (can get them in health food stores) at least a week before the op as this really reduces scarring and bruising after operations.

You obviously know someone who has them done! In case you have'nt read the earlier thread , i'm a married women with two kids. Been with my husband for nearly ten years, and in that time he is the only one, besides myself of course who has seen my boobs, therefore for ' me ' not OTHER PEOPLE. And about them been hard and not moving, i think you are talking about really old implants. These days there are loads of different types of implants, including anatomical implants (teardrops) which are suppose to look and feel like the real thing! And supposely they even bounce. Then again i don't have them, so i can't really comment, but i've read lots and lots. If somebody who actually has them done could comment, that would be a great help.:p

My friend got them done only a few months ago. They feel weird. Women like you make others feel like less of a woman. I just think plastic surgery is wrong. If everyone who could afford it went and got plastic surgery think how **** the rest of us poorer people would feel next to all these barbie dolls. When you're 60 years old with little boys gawping at your ridiculous fake breasts come back to me and tell me it was worth it.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 5 mantari

and by OTHER PEOPLE i didn't mean men you had slept with. I was talking about people who decide what is good looking or fashinable IE> magazine editors, fashion designers, hollywood etc. You are simply pandering to these morons who make you feel crap if you look less than perfect. Learn to love yourself.

to be honest I dont feel like **** next to barbie lookalikes, I think that they look trashy, tacky, and they just look like porn actresses or something! not something I wanna look like. its disturbing that this look is becoming the ideal that women are trying to achieve!!!:(

Seriously, who gives a **** about you or 'the rest of the poorer people'?
People get them done for THEMSELVES, having to worry about the "tut tut"s coming from the local mingers they pass by on their way to somewhere better really isnt going to be their concern, and they are damn right too.
What next will you complain about woman that dye their hair, get a nice haircut, have a nicer dress than you that you can't afford? Do these things also make you feel like less of a woman beside them?
    Get real..

What can i say, Opinions are like ***holes, everyone has one! :p  But i didn't ask for opinions just advise, is there anyone out there who has them done? Must be someone, i've read that 2 thousand irish women had them done in the last year. Somebody help.

Hey Lulu, I've had mine done by Dr. Ahmad Salman at Auralia Clinic. He is amazing and I'd recommend him 100%. As far as I know he is one of the cheapest in Ireland but thats no reflection on quality. You should definately book a free consult with him. I had consults with Advanced Cosmetic Surgery and Harley Medical Group but I was most impressed with him by far.

Mine don't feel or look hard or fake (its only for the first few weeks or a couple months max that they will feel like that) and I just got a large B cup so I'm not "barbie doll" looking. I love them and don't regret it for a second.

Good luck if you decide to go through with it!

    Hi there,

Figured I may be able to help rather than try to put you off!
I haven't had a boob job in that I haven't had implants, but I have had a reduction and an uplift and I must say it was the best thing I ever did :)
I had mine done a few years ago through the Harley Medical Group and they were brilliant. The scarring has really healed well and it was worth every penny.
Before this I had never had any surgery before and had never been to hospital ever! But I would never fear any surgery ever again. I can honestly say I had no pain after the surgery as you are pumped with so many drugs.

Whatever you decide, I wish you the best of luck. You should do what will be best for you.

    J

I can't believe the OP is getting so many mean spirited judgements when she hasn't asked for anything like it.

Unfortunately i dont remember the name off hand but i may be able to find it out. I know it was out in black rock that my friend got hers done. Not a close friend so i havent felt them to see how real they feel but ill certainly try ask for details of it all.

Hi lads, just wanted to say I've been an out patient of blackrock clinic for the last year. They're absolutely top class up there, best in Ireland and some of the best in Europe. I did'nt need surgery, so cant give you names or prices. It'll probably be expensive but definitely worth it...cant put a price on your health. Just ask your GP and he should be able to give you a referral.

    Good Luck:)
