Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

6230i Car Kit?

    Looking for a cheapish car kit for the above phone. The shops in dublin are looking for 200-250 euro for a setup, we where hoping for somethign a little cheaper (well the bosses anway :rolleyes: ).
    Any ideas? We can install ourselves.

    What is the quality like from these "no install" devices like the nokia cigarette lighter bluetooth kit or the sunvisor clip ons? Are they as good as properly plumbed in car kits?

    In a word, no. :)

    The no install solutions wont charge your phone,(on general) also they wont enhance your phones signal.

    On the other side, they can be moved from car to car and bluetooth solutions work with an awful lot of phones.

    You can get a car kit, fully installed, with Meteor at the moment (with a 6230i) for 178 (inc crade and antenna which is 29) for on Talk 400. Might not be any good to you but it's always nice to know every option.
