Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    11-year-old boy killed in accident on Co Kilkenny farm

    12:00 Wednesday August 9th 2006

    An 11-year-old boy has died after being injured by a potato-harvester on a farm in Co Kilkenny yesterday afternoon.
    The accident happened at around 3.30pm while Richard Ryan, from Ballygorey, was a helping out on a neighbour's farm.

    The boy was rushed to hospital, but died from his injuries during the night.

    The local parish priest, Fr Eamon O'Gorman, said today that the community was in shock following the tragic accident.
