Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I've seen some interesting writing (think it was on newswireless.net by Guy Kewney) which suggests it may be too sucessful for its own good.

Basically since it specifically requires the generations of multiple signals on multiple channels - and has a higher range, means that the number of wireless AP's per street that can be used simultaneously will be reduced.

Also I see it as pretty pointless speedwise right now, unless you intend streaming lots of video content around your home.

Unless you are desperate for it, I would at least wait until the pre-n is ratified into 802.11n otherwise there will be no guarantee of interaction between different Pre-n products.

Its very good Iv'e used it in a couple of cases you get 20% extended range over G.. and wil work perfectly fine with G cards (and B)... ive read that N is now ratified .But that (AFIK) it will only work with other N devices and may not be backwards compatable...have to do some more reading on it.. Any one know?
