Public park in Castletroy

Limerick Co Co did a survey and displayed plans for a public park in Castletroy earlier this year.

It gone quiet since and there is no info on their website. Anyone heard anymore about this?

It was in one of the local papers a while back think it's supposed to be out near the secondary school

its next to castletroy college, it will have about 25 acres (this might change), it will have long walkways, but NO library. there has been planning meetings, and a lot of consultation, the co council are going over submissions at the present i think

they so need something out there..there are so many kids that live out that way as there is a primary and secondary school in the vicinity and there is nothing for them to do really..playing in the estate gets old fairly quickly for some kids.
