Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    The right decision

    Gerrard as vice captain aswell.

You might see a different england with the likes of Terry as captain. He wont be fazed by the media and he has the winning mentality. He's certainly more of a natural leader than Beckham.

As a 'pool fan I'd have liked to see Gerrard get it but if it was going to be anyone else, I'm glad it's Terry. He's a very passionate and strong willed player which is what you need in a captain. Well done to him.

I think this was the correct decision as he is a true leader and in fairness it will allow Gerard to concentrate solely on football.....

AS long as it's not Neville....

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

its the right decision tbh, hopefully making him captain will turn his game around and he'll become a much better defender for england for it! :)

Seeing as the annoucement is not been made till after 3 I wouldn't thrust this until I hear it from McClaren. He has been fav from day one so wouldnt be a shock if he does get it.
