    Friday 11th August
    Bray Wanderers v Bohemians
    Shelbourne v Cork City
    Athlone Town v Dundalk
    Galway United v Finn Harps

    Saturday 12th August
    Longford Town v U.C.D.
    Kildare County v Shamrock Rovers
    Kilkenny City v Limerick

    Sunday 13th August
    Drogheda United v Sligo Rovers
Derry City v St. Patrick's Athletic
    Monaghan United v Cobh Ramblers

Bray-Bohs is probably one to avoid. Bohs have been exposed as being on something of a false run of form recently. Bray have some quality players but seem to be aimless at the moment, a possible injection of enthusiasm from the Dublin City recruits their only hope. Under 2.5 goals could be worth playing here.

I can't check prices in work, but I'm pretty sure Shels will be a decent enough price to continue their fine run against Cork. Beware the stung team knocked out of Europe and all that, but to be honest I just don't see Cork taking anything from Tolka. Shels beat Bohs without Jason Byrne. Frankly, the run Shels are on doesn't surprise me; they have enough quality players to be able to hammer the bottom 6 and expect to beat most of the top 6.

Hot off a convincing 3-1 win away to Limerick, I will probably take Galway to beat Harps, and might have Dundalk away as well. Athlone have blown hot and cold this season, like most of that looney-bin division!

On the Sunday fixtures, Derry and Drogheda will be a popular double but it's far from cut and dry. Under 2.5 goals a distinct possibility in both games.

I hate betting in division one. Always be a suprise result every week. Shels are 1.8 on betfair and 8/13 on pp.

I'd expect the price on Shels to improve tomorrow when the serious money comes in. 8/13 isn't really my idea of a price, but the form they're on has the traders running scared.

Looks like Dundalk are going to be missing loads of their 1st team tonight against Athlone. Athlone have their problems too but Dundalk look in trouble here. Odds on Athlone have been coming in all day from 3.4 to 3 now. I'm taking a small punt on Athlone.

Cork +0.5 on betfair @ 2.01 is too good to turn down i think.
