Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hello,

I'm looking for a Free bit of software that will convert 3gp (Mobile phone footage) to Uncompressed Avi's

I need to be able to import them in to Avid. I've found Mob3GPcon but when I import the file they export into avid, it shows a white screen.

Hope some one can help :)

    John

im guessing you've tried it, but if you have the codec for the source file installed, surely Virtaldub would work?

    AFAIK its H326 based?

Maybe this is of use, havent got time to read it in detail right now:

WinAvi should do it, but it costs $30.

or try http://www.miksoft.net/mobile3GPconverter.htm which will convert it to mpeg, then if you have quicktime pro you can export that mpeg to uncompressed quicktime or avi which, as you more than likely know, will both work in avid.
