    Hello,

I know its a bit late but im going to the UK on saturday and i figure it would be a good idea if i had a proper gps system instead of using my laptop open on the passenger seat.

So.. is there somewhere i can buy a in-car gps, and get it installed the same day?
    Im in north dublin.

    Thanks,
    Eric

You can just buy one and install it yourself through cigarette lighter.
    OR
    Get one fitted in 30mins.

Halfords have a large range of them. I find the plug in ones better as you can take it with you when walking about also.

Hi if you havent already bought one you could buy one off me if you want i have an add up on advert.ie

    http://www.adverts.ie/showproduct.ph...t=5175&cat=500

If you want to see exactly what maps are included take a look at the link below, under the maps section put in country and county.

But if you do buy off someone in england, just make sure you get one with the navteq database. There are so many of the units you can buy in england that will not support the irish roads ( well they will support them, but only the big cities).

As far as i know only the snooper indago, and the destinator V6.0 suppport the newest navteq maps in ireland. Later on this year i think garmin are goin to be supporting it, but im not sure when.

And the bonus with getting a snooper indago, is that it has a speed camera detector built in;)

    Happy shopping
