Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    NEW RELEASE

    3BEATDIGITAL / AUDIOJELLY / BEATPORT / DJDOWNLOAD / JUNO / RELEASERECORDS / STOMPY / TRACKITDOWN / TUNETRIBE

This is something that was on the boil for quite some time. It all came from a remix MAN IN A ROOM done of the original (ambient) track by this richly talented UK-based duo, SPYHOP (Chris Weir & Ilze Van Der Poll). He spent a year crafting what can only be described as a work of art, and this beautiful Dn'B number was how this package came about! LAYERS OF SOUND then chipped in with an upbeat Funky House remix, with his trademark bouncy bassline wreaking havoc. This is one of the more uplifting mixes for sure from the Islington producer. Newcomers South London-based FUZIK then dropped a progressive mix that definitly comes close to trance and puts a darker twist on the tune. To top off those 3 class mixes we asked ANGEL ALANIS to do something up a little different. The established Chicago-based producer/dj/label boss is currently working on his debut artist album which sees him encorporate many styles, so we hit him just at the right moment!! Angel done up something that could only be described as a mx of electro, house and progressive, and we love it :)

The Original Mix of this was our first ever digital release, back in March 2005. It was put out to celebrate the old QOM websites 1st birthday. This is another release which has been in production for a long oul while, we hope you reckon it was worth the wait. Its another diverse one, and one of the more experimental packages... tho dont let that word put you off, these mixes combined should be pretty accessible to a wide range of jocks. New Czech-based crew on the block AFRODROPS have treated us to two deep mixes, both of which have progressive and tech-house infleunces, in differing measures, watch out for these guys!! Rising French producer MOD X has done up a broken beat mix that shows us why he is one of THE rising stars of the broken/afro scene on the continent. American producer ATOM has done up a micro-house mix, a deep minimal tune that works those guitars nicely and uses the vocals in a very inventive fashion & SMART DOG (Belgium / Dj Chris Dee) has put a slightly more housey mix than we have come to expect, definitly still deep house, but more upbeat, this uses the synths to added effect!
