Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

My advice to you is to be as supportive of your ex as possible at this difficult time. I very much doubt that you could have got cancer from her but she deffinitly needs your support.

A pretty serious question in the PI forum gets turned into a large amount of smart arsed answers.....
OP-not likely that you have contracted cancer-it doesnt spread in this way-although try support this person as best you can.

There is a virus that can be transmited sexually that can cause cancer cervix.
If you had unprotected sex with your ex you could have given it to her or if she had it she could have given it to you.
I suggest you make an appointment with your dr.

Best to get clued and get some facts on cancer, then at least you will know some on the subject about how it might effect your ex. Let her know that you will be there for her in any way you can.

afaik there are several STI's that have been linked to various cancers, not just cervical cancer.
