Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Charity Shops vs door to door charity types

I'm looking to get rid of a load of clothes I don't wear anymore.

I sometimes get bags put through my letterbox from different charities.
Are these to be trusted? I have heard they sell the clothes giving only a small portion to charity.

If they're not to be trusted, are there any genuine charity shops in Waterford that would take some clothes and where are they? (Mention landmarks or other shops rather than streets because I haven't a clue!)

Does it matter as long as they are meeting your needs by taking away the "trash" you no longer want? and from you door also.

There is that attitude but I don't wanna help dodgy charity people make make money from other peoples goodwill.

I believe Charity shops are now asking people to stop donating to these types of businesses that go door-to-door. They only pick out the best clothes(Desgner) and dump the rest.

It might be best to give some Charity shops a call and tell them what clothes you have. I am sure they will only delighted to hear that you want to give it to them.

In my own experience i get 1 to 2 bags through the post each week on average. I use them as bin liners saves me having to buy some:D
