Should we be concerned that the 'Real IRA' is taking responsibility for these mindless acts of disruption?? Or is it just the final stings from a dying wasp?:rolleyes:

It will increase if it is not defeated. Imagine if you'd been reared to hate Brits, Stormont and the Free State. Then you had to look at Gerry and company crying at the gates to be let in so that they can be ministers.

Indeed hard to imagine them having much capibility these days.

Jackie I think you will find in School today that the history being thought is always going to leave young ppl mindful of the past but I wouldnt say young ppl are thought to 'hate the Brits' unless they are thought to do so by their parents.

I hope these yobs grow a few brain cells and just go away.

I hope you are right about the effect of schooling but I fear you are not. Moreover, kids are socialised by a wider experience than school and even parents.




Incidentally, the IRA invented the "proxy suicide bomber". (O.K. It's an oxymoron but so what?) We tend to forget that for a while our patriots tied people into vehicles laden with explosives, held their family hostage, and forced them to drive and die for a united Ireland. We're supposed to forget that in the interests of "the peace process". Now if we don't forget and they aren't elected, will the process be "stalled" or ended?

I wouldn't call the planting of incendiary devices in buildings "mindless acts of disruption", it was easily possible that someone could have been seriously harmed or killed.

This has absolutely nothing to do with the RIRA attacks in South Down.
