Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Cross platform (Linux/Windows/MacOs) Bittorrent library

I'm just pimping my wares a little here... As part of the Googles summer of code i've written a BitTorrent library in C# for Mono. So in effect what this is, is a library written in C# that can be run under nearly any OS under the sun.

So if anyone is looking for a bittorrent library to embed into their application, or wants to write a GUI or web-based frontend for a BitTorrent library, feel free to drop a note here. The sourcecode will be publicly available from the beginning of next week. A web based front end is definately something i'd like to see.

Also, if anyone is interesting in doing a bit of hacking on code, feel free to join in on developing this library further. There's still a whole heap of stuff that needs to be done to make this faster, more feature rich and more efficient. I'd guesstimate that there's at least 3 months of work for a single developer working about 20 hours a week on the library. So there's a lot left to be done.
