    I got another quote today on a gun. your advice would be appreciated

    Well,

    I am probably going to alienate alot of people with this but here goes.

    You can put all the frills you want (sst, m/c, ejectors) on a baikal but it is still a rough, crude, hard kicking, low resale value beast of a gun to shoot.

    €680 new is still poor value in my mind for what you are getting.

    Digi, check your P.M.'s, I think I am going to have to try and persuade you 'ever so gently' away from the beastly Baikal;)
