Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Barred phone?

Just got a Nokia 6310i I bought on EBay.

It was on Orange and I unlocked it, but despite detecting all networks here, I have tried Meteor, O2 and Virgin UK sim cards in it, and the phone will not register with any networks here.

I get "No Access" coming up on the screen.

Does this mean it has been barred in Ireland?

I came across this before with a 6310, my mate replaced the power amp & it worked fine, according to this site replacing the PA works 99% of the time. http://www.mobile-files.com/forum/archive/index.php/t-9254.html

You can buy a replacement PA from a company in Cork for less than €10, http://www.lcddirect.ie/products.html

thanks for that phil. I cant be bothered with that so the seller has agreed to refund me if I send the phone back. It suits me better to do that - if I had the time I would probably get it fixed, but I dont.
