Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

missing xp desktop icons

    This is weird. I've just run a fresh install of a brand new copy of windows XP onto a machine, but there are no desktop icons.....

    It's very odd.

    Any ideas?

    EDIT: Actually, the recycle bin is there, but that's all. Everything is working fine, there are just no other icons (i.e. My Computer, Network Places, etc.)

    That's the default XP install.

    Right-click on the taskbar, select Properties, click on the Start Menu tab, select Classic Start Menu, click OK.

    or right click desktop, properties, desktop, customise desktop and put a tick in what icons you want.
