    Teenage Kicks, an arts and youth information event organised by young people for young people will take place on August 17th / 18th / 19th. Supported by Limerick Youth Service and the Vodafone Foundation, young people are researching the need for a City centre Youth Café, providing a range of activities over the weekend to gauge youth interest.


    There is something on offer for everyone, with 22, the AMC, The Basta Collective and United Bible Studies facilitating music clinics and workshops on Slam Poetry, Photography, Journalism and World Cuisine. Information booths on both Positive Body Image and Sexual Health will also be open throughout the weekend.

    Photography with Eamon McCarthy
    Music journalism with Ciaran Ryan & Mark Keane
    Slam Poetry with Steve Murray
    AMC Talk workshop
    Basta Collective workshop
    Bodywhys and Positive body image workshops


    The event will culminate with a gig in Dolan’s Warehouse on Saturday afternoon. Local metal band Roper headline with United Bible Studies, Disko Traitor, Vox Populi, Sellenium and Chasing Aphrodite also on the bill.
