Looking for a garage

    I have a 94 VW Gold 1.4 with 60k miles

    I want to get it serviced. Does anyone know of any garages that specialise in old VW's on the north side / near centre city.

    I hear that there is a good garage in Donnybrook.

    Failing that are there any lists of good garages for servicing I can't find a list anywhere.

    I know a garage in Dublin 7 that are very good and reasonable rates too. I use them regularly - about 10 - 15 times a week. PM if you want details.

    @ crosstownk. Sorry for ressurecting this thread after so many months but i was just wondering where abouts in D7 that garage was you were talking about??

    I had my NCT last week and have a couple of things I need to get done (some of which I am doing myself).. I need to get the Drivers side headlight mounted properly(?) , the rear lights are the wrong colour and also there is a problem with the mounting of my exhaust... A garage is D7 would be really handy to go to as I originally come from there and know the area and also I could drive to the garage on the way to work.. Thanks in advance.

    Theres a guy in Ballycullen, gerard Perry Motors specialises in VW's found him excellent and reasoable, had to wait 3 weeks though before he could do my 86 golf, so he must be good!
