new to broadband have smart now

have smart broadband 3meg for a few months now and its good.. but wondering if there is any way of making it better.. i use the router they sent me.. should i upgrade.. what are the advantages.. and how do i add another computer onto it.. any tips would be great

Upgrade what? the BB package you're on? the router? the routers firmware?

and how do i add another computer onto it..

The router should have multiple ethernet ports... if you have network cards on your other machines you can plug them into these... the router uses DHCP, so you can leave your pc to obtain an ip address automatically, etc.
