    Crop those photos.
Surely the original res is high enough to allow it?

RedPlanet - I suggest you either turn off sigs or pipe down.

Amazing the difference a crop and some level tweaking can make.

Forfaire Agus Tairseacht-Vigilant and Loyal to the Irish State.. Its the motto of the Irish Air Corps.

I thought you would have guessed that when the key word there is "Irish"

    Dumb ****.

    Found this way with google.

Cropping images in Microsoft Paint. If you've cropped images in Paint Shop Pro or Photoshop, you'll find that Paint does it backwards! You outline the area to crop, cut it, close the image from which you cut it, open a new image, and paste what you cut:

    * Press File > Open in Paint and find an image to open.

    * Click the dotted rectangle in the tool area, and then drag the mouse to create a box an area that you want to crop.

    * Press Edit > Copy, and then close the current image by pressing File > New.

    * Paste the portion of the image that you just cropped into the new file, and save it.

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,498 ✭✭✭BrokenArrows

thats because after cutting the image out and pasting it you have to remove all the extra white space.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 247 ✭✭IrishAirCorps

when you open the pic in ms paint go to the edge of the white space shown in the pic and you can drag it till its the size of the pic.

    shown here in the attachment
