Outlook Express 6 - Set up problems

    We set up Eircom Broadband on our PC today, reconfigured our Outlook Express. We are now able to send e-mail using Outlook Express but cannot receive it. Our e-mail address is with ireland.com.

    When we log onto Outlook Express we get a prompt to type in username and password. When we click on ok the prompt continues to reappear.

    I have spoken to the Broadband Support in Eircom and they advised me to make some changes to the settings by putting POP3.ireland.com into the Incoming mail (POP3) box. This still hasn't sorted the problem.

    Any help would be appreciated but go easy on the techno speech, baby steps here please
