recently when i visit boards every few minutes a popup pops up (obviously) it can get very annoying, is it boards or adware or summit or nuffin

Sometimes people put hotlinked images in their signatures which cause popups, but I visited the thread you have in that screenshot, and I'm satisfied that's not the case here.
boards.ie never has and never will have popups, so it would seem that these popups are being caused by malware on your own machine
