    Chauffe, Marcel, chauffe!

Nice. Pity it won't arrive until 2008. It might not look as fresh anymore then...

Why can't they let the greats rest in piece?

Seconded. Although the GT40 was a great job!

Good point, SC. But more often than not they are, IMO, disasters.

Look at the new beetle and the BMW Mini....

I want to like it too - but to me it looks more like a Passat Coupe. Which is all it is really. It doesn't have the 'flair' of the old Sirocco.

I'll reserve my final judgement until I see it in the flesh.

2 years to weld a roof onto the Eos?

...and call it a Sirocco to help it sell?

They are bringing out a Passat coupe too in 2008.

It will be a 4-door though. Something of a similar shape/layout of the Mercedes CLS CLass.

    That could look good..

I kinda like it. Its the same approach they took with the Corrado really, it resembles the Jettas/Passats of its day in much the same way that this new Scirroco resembles its siblings.

it looks nothing like its namesake at all.

It looks more like a sporty Passat/Bora then a revamped Scirocco.

I hate it and I can't see too many selling when they have the Golf GTi

It looks like a reborn Corrado with that high back end. Anyway its good news for those who still have a good example the proper Scirocco as interest will be tweaked by the new model.

That looks ok, but I think a 4dr coupe from VW is pointless. People will buy the 3 series coupe before this one
