    Ebaybanned

Beyond a joke of a store. Biggest bunch of wallies I've ever encountered. No concept of customer service and a complete ****ter service.

60 days ago a PTT headset ordered.
46 days later I get a PTT button with no headset.
Contacted same day. Told it will be sent immedialty and I'll get a tracking number.

Still waiting on that tracking number and no sign of the headset.

Absolute joke shop, I'm literally done dealing with them dont care what they are selling.

I'd rather pay ehobbyasia more and atleast know that there wont be any mistakes and I get the items within 10 days.

Another point into why its better to shop irish then abroad, pity irish stores just don't have the accesories, or they'd be making a mint.

If this was an irish store I'd be going in with a brick at this stage.

    sorry for the long wait

i think we will refund to you soon

    cordially,

    Jesse^_^

Thats what took him days to email me back.

What a complete waste of time and a joke of a store....

So I have a PTT button, still no headset.....magical

what one are you looking for doc? i might have one depending on the connection you need

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,854 ✭✭✭Rogue-Trooper

Think you must be jinxed Doc! I ordered a vest, cqc holster & strike plate from them on Saturday 28th November and they were delivered on Friday morning last (11th). I took your advice and ordered all 3 items separately but they actually packaged & shipped them together. They even managed to send exactly what I ordered and in the colours I ordered!
They are still up to their old custom-busting tricks though. The total order was $137.20 but the declaration on the package said $30. It was also described as 'used nylon safety wear'!

    cordially,

    Rogue ^_^

Ehobby don't ever seem to have a problem putting orders together but Ebaybanned have a habit of getting a little 'muddled' if you order multiple items. Doc had advised some time ago that you are better off submitting separate orders to EBB if you are getting a few items, that way you had a better chance of getting the things you actually want!
I tried it this time around but they obviously copped it and sent them together anyway. The other reason I ordered separately was to keep the individual parcel values down so as not to attract 'unwanted customs interest' but as you can see from my post above, they undervalued it anyway. The problem I have with that is if customs investigate an undervalued package then I guess it can be percieved as attempting to defraud them and I'm sure it gets a lot messier at that point!

I believe they can either fine you, or seize the goods irrevocably if they're undervalued deliberately. It annoys me when HK suppliers do that, so much so I wont use EBaybanned at all anymore because of it.

I've ordered a number of times off EBB and have never had a problem, received exactly what I ordered and usually arriving in a little under 2 weeks.

Does look like that when they screw the pooch however, it's done to a spectacular degree.

I found my new out of the country retailer.

My Eotech arrived today, serious service from Ehobbyasia! Got the Eotech and a screen protecter for the grand total of €57.99 and arrived from HK in 2 days, thats a fast as some Irish retailers!

    No customs, was lucky!

    Note

Just to let you know "ehobbyasia.com" are banned from boards.ie

I wont go into the reasons why, but just in case anybody was sending them a PM regarding an order they will not respond to you.

This has no bearing on them as a retailer, this is just info if anybody was attempting to contact them through boards.ie

Discussion of them and their products is still allowed

But they are not allowed post or advertise here

It's coming up to Christmas, ask for a tracking number and check both Honk Kong Post and An Post, chances are is that they have stopped international shipping.

I've got in touch with Ebaybanned (again) and asked them would they be willing to sort me out with one of the cookie monster jackets.

They owe me dosh from the headset which still aint arrived, so to save hassle perhaps I can get the jacket out of them :)

Sum personal advice advice from me….
    Do not buy from surplusandadventure.com
Approx. 3 months ago I ordered about 200euro worth of stuff from them, so far have received less than half of it, asked a few times to cancel the rest of the order both over the phone and by e-mail yet to get a refund or get any of the stuff owed nothing but bull**** from them!

A top site I have used since is meanandgreen.com :D very fast and friendly site, they do exactly what they say unlike that other shower of robbing assh***s !

Well just in case anybody is curious,

Their ban is a result of a lot of money in advertising fees being unpaid to boards.ie

(remember the big banner ads they had?)

Not anything they have done on the Airsoft forum

    Well how interesting.

Asking ebaybanned what the deal is with either my refund or getting me that cookie monster jacket and the response, after nothing for a week is

    "No news cordially"

How is that a response to what is essentially them owing me money...that is shocking

    tonyj_mc wrote: »

sorry tony, only saw the question now...

not bad, they seem to have a standard charge between 11 and 12 stg. For that you can get quite a few things.

actually if you go thru their order system they tell you it...its a bit clunky but works..

Has anyone ever ordered anything from http://www.replicaters.com/ before?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,463 ✭✭✭Leftyflip

    Have you tried contacting them?

  • Registered Users Posts: 741 ✭✭✭gian

unfortunately special airsoft supplies do not have the best rep and are know as being a bit of a cow boy outfit, they have a lot of items on there site for sale that they do not stock or are even out of production but will still take your money

thanks for another info sir pudding i dont really know what step should be taken but something should be done on these kind of retailers (contact UKARA?), i wouldnt have any problem if their still using paypal but it seems that they removed their account recently so ive no choice but to use my credit card... seems to me that its their tactic of fraud and tricking people.

If anything the credit card companies are even stricter than Paypal about that kind of nonsense. Contact the company and explain what happened. If enough people do that, their ability to take credit cards will be revoked.

EDIT: Also....they might be able to revoke the payment under certain circumstances, so you could get your money back.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,261 ✭✭✭Puding

as tony said if you paid with credit card that might be a bit of luck, give your issuer a ring, explain the situation , they will almost always as for something in writing and then they can start a charge back procedure

  • Registered Users Posts: 741 ✭✭✭gian

cool thanks guys will do that the first thing this comming monday!
