plaque on tongue web

    hi, got my tongue web done a while ago (absolutely LOVE it!) and im starting to notice a kinda whitish plaque building up on the bar. i already knew this was one of the problems with this piercing, but does anyone know how to get rid of it?

    simple aswer: clean it
    its normal for it to happen

    well obviously. but this **** is stubborn-it aint budging! keep in mind it isnt that easy to fit your fingers in your mouth to clean it...

    Well if you are confident you can take it out and put it back in just whip it out and give it a good brush with your tooth brush. or try brush it. Possibly mouthwash or hot water.
    Wasnt trying to be funny or snotty earlier by the way :)

    I used get the same problem with mine...it is really hard to get it off, but when your brushing your teeth, just get the brush and flick it up against it a few times and it usually works...and i probably shouldn't advice this, since potentially it'll damage your teeth, but i click it off the back off my bottom teeth and it get's rid of it...: /

    Jesus love! Don't EVER take a piercing out when healing it! Bit o antibac non alcoholic mouthwash should do the trick. Keep going with the ould sea salt and water. And a little brush morning and night. Should be ok. If yer worried talk to yer piercer.

    its fine wilburt dont worry about it :) yeah i dunno about that whole taking it out thing, i dont have a clue how ill be able to cos like i said before about trying to fit your fingers in your mouth.....ill try the toothbrush anyway!
