Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,

    Does anyone here already own a Toshiba Satellite A100-768?

    Have seen what I think is a good deal for 1000 euro. Centrino Duo , 1024Go RAM, 100Go hard drive, 6 memory card readers, 4 USB ports, screen: 15.4" TFT TruBrite.

    I dont have one of those, but if it helps, I am a fan of Toshiba laptops generally.

    Have had a Portege for a few years now and thinking about getting a U200 or something perhaps at the end of the year.

    That laptop sounds like a good price. Problem I found always with Toshibas was the support wasn't up to corporate standards. This may not matter to a home user but it's worth mentioning, cos it always went through a local agent, I assume that's still the same. Apart from that the machines are pretty slick in ways.

    Bought the Toshiba Satellite A100-593 a month ago 999 euro and so far so good. I must say I'm verry happy with it, the wifi is very handy.

    Let us know if you take the plunge.
