Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hey,
I bought a new Nokia 6230i today and I'm wondering about charging.

Basically, I plugged it in 3 hours ago and it reads that the battery is full.

If the battery is full then is it cool to unplug it and use it or should I leave it plugged in for longer to ensure decent battery life later on?

    Cheers,
    Quad

The first two charges should be twice the normal charge duration. ~6 hours for this.

I would leave it charging overnight, as you want to fill it to capacity and then run it right down the first few times

Read on some review site that the first charge for a 6230i when i was thinking about buying one should be 12 hours to calibrate the battery, not sure how true this is but that's what it was saying, unfortunately can't remember what site.
