Factory farms in Ireland

    I've seen the clips of factory farms in the USA and the UK.
    Just windering are there many factory farms in Ireland? How much of our meat comes from factory farms? Are we as bad as the rest?

    christ! just had a look at some of the videos on there, thats animal cruelty isnt it? shouldnt these people be arrested? :mad: :mad:

    I dont think Ireland is generally all that intensive, I may be wrong. I know my parents next door neighbour in roscommon has a small and personal farm.
    We often helped during the lambing season and it's good fun, this was last lambing season so I'm not talking about childhood or anything. My girlfriend loved the experience as she had never experienced it coming from the north of england.
