    Could someone give me a bit of info on the various access programmes run by the likes of TCD,UCD and UCC.

    I already had a look at the TAP and HEAR sites. But I don't seem to fall into any bracket there, I didn't go to school for my leaving cert.

    I had a browse at the TAP, and it doesn't look like you need a leaving certificate to go through the Foundation Course for Mature Students. It says:
    Entry Requirements

    There are no standard educational entry requirements, but evidence of a particular interest in education and strong motivation is essential.

    I'm not sure what age you are, so you might be ruled out for it if you are under 23.
