    Hey!

I planning on buying windsurfing gear soon. I have windsurfed a few times before but im a beginner. Im 85kg & 6' 1".

Im thinking about getting a 180L board - maybe a starboard. Would this be too hard to start with?

If I bought a big beginner board I may grow out of it fast - anyone agree / disagree??

Also I have a budget of about €1000-1200 - would I get much for this??

I'd really appreciate some help on this.

    Thanks

    Mike

hey, you will grow out of a 180L board in a few days/weeks like i did depending on how fast you pick it up. I would say go for a JP X-CITE RIDE 135 LITRE or a STARBOARD CARVE 133 LITRE

these shops in Dublin might have some great deals on some of last years stock of 2006 boards. 2007 models should be in around now.

    hey ,

thanks a lot for the help. I was talking to a friend in the mean time + he sed the exact same thing - 130 L would be the job.

Do you think you could get fully kitted out ok for about 1000 euro as the budget has decreased a bit:(

    thanks
