Anyone know where or how you do the price labels that you see in supermarkets like dunnes, tesco etc have on the shelves showing the product and price. Does anyone know what the name of the piece of equipment needed is and where you could get one?

    OP:

    Maybe move this to Computers

what have u in mind here, printing the label is the the easy bit, getting it to change to match each of the 40,000 products is the tricky bit so if u can be more specific on what u are after.

In simple terms you will need the info in a data base and a piece of software to read it and process it for printing.

You can google for label printers and as a start for the sort of systems that do this stuff look at www.pccubed.ie
