Nissan Maxima Alternator Belt

Hi Folks My Maxima's engine light is on and the belt that feeds the alternator is screeching. Im going to halfords todays to pick up a new belt, and I'm going to attempt to replace it later, has anybody ever done one on a maxima (its a 01) is it as easy as it looks?
