accommodation in Luxembourg

A friend of mine (polish) has been offered a traineeship in Luxembourg at the european parliament. He needs not so expensive accommodation, which is hard to come buy in Luxembourg.. he is not willing to pay more than 400 euro a month for an appt. any tips would be most welcome.
