Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I was thinking of moving my business plan phones from 02 to meteor, to avail of the free calls and texts between the phones, we mostly ring each others phones or send texts, what is the meteor coverage like in ireland, not too pushed about roaming tbh

O2 will give you unlimited O2-to-o2 calling for 20 euros a month (the package is called Business Unlimited). Better value than Meteor, in my opinion, especially as O2 have a lot more customers. Calls to other networks are 20c a minute.

To answer your question, though, I find Meteor coverage in Mayo to be good. They do have a roaming agreement with O2 as well, so if you're out of coverage, you can roam on O2's Irish network.

You can find details about O2's Business Unlimited plan, which gives you free unlimited O2-to-O2 calls, here: http://www.o2online.ie/wps/wcm/connect/O2/Home/Business/Price+Plans/multiple+user+plans/Open+minute+plans/

IF you don't just want free calls between mobiles, but inclusive minutes to other networks as well (like Meteor Talk 400 gives you), Vodafone's Perfect Fit for Business is, in my mind, better value than Meteor, as Vodafone has 2 million customers compared to Meteor's few hundred thousand. In my experience Vodafone are also more professional and better customer service, and have far better (and cheaper) roaming.

For €57.03 a month you get 400 minutes to all other networks, and free unlimited Vodafone-to-Vodafone calling. It's for life, but you must sign up before the end of this month.

    Details: http://www.vodafone.ie/phonestariffs/ourtariffs/paymonthly/trfgrp/index.jsp?vattoggle=false

For an extra ten bob you get a Nokia E61, which is very similar to the Blackberry and has a QWERTY keyboard, with 100MB of data included for push email and full internet access (it has a full web browser on it, not just WAP or any of that crap).

Depending on usage, you can always go for the Meteor Business Edge plans. They're pretty competitive, and to be honest, coverage is no longer really an issue. General rule of thumb is that if you have good O2 coverage, you have good Meteor coverage.

You can only get these business plans through their business contacts, or popping into a few of their stores. The closest to you, if you're in Mayo, would be the O'Connell St store in Limerick. Note there are other stores closer (Galway) but these don't do business plans, but they do the standard Talk plans.
