Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

No, you have to see a dr but they will do repeat perscriptions from 3 months to six months once they are happy that it suits you and you can fill it at once or on a month per month basis.

If it is going to take you a while to find a gp there there are two clincs that deal with specifically womens contraception needs.
    The websites for these are
    www.ifpa.ie
    http://www.wellwomancentre.ie/

On the sites you will find contact info, opening hours and medical fees.

It can cost money but it is for the best. Your GP should monitor your weight and blood pressure while on the pill, should ask detailed questions about family histories of cancer and blood clotting.

I'm afraid that is the public health service. The fees are just capped. :(
You need to be a student full-time, unemployed, on benefits or earning a very low wage to get concessions.
If you're near enough, you can always get it for free from a walk-in, confidential clinic on Northern Ireland.

Have you applied for a GP visit card? http://www.oasis.gov.ie/health/health_services_in_ireland/gp_visit_cards.html
The card will enable you to visit your doctor free of charge. The income limits have recently been increased and you may be entitled to it.
