Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

*search is down so apologies if there is something like this already posted before*

I'm going to go on the (combined) pill. I know I have to go to my GP beforehand, but I just want to know what to expect? Is it just my blood pressure she has to check or what else? Also, around how much will it cost me each month?

    Thanks

    Champers x

She'll ask you a few questions- do you smoke, family history of blood disorders or heart attacks, etc She usually does take blood pressure and might check your weight and do a quick breast check. I think the cost of pill brands can vary slightly, but it's better to buy a few packs at once, as it's cheaper. I paid about 10 euro per pack (I think!)
If you're a student, you should go to a pharmacy which offers a student discount.
The doc should also inform you of the side effects of the particular pill aswell.
