Rock Star - Supernova, anyone watching?

Is anyone watching the Rock Star Supernova show? where Jason from Metallica, Gilbey from Guns and Roses and Tommy lee from Motley Crue are looking for a lead singer.

Yeah I`ve been watching it from the start.
Its very entertaining but the standard of singers is quite iffy.

At first I thought The singers would never be up to the calibre of Supernova. Having seen their first two attempts at a song, I am sure that most of the singers can do better than these three. Still worth watching for Navarro's brilliant commentary, and the general train wreck factor. I'm almost missing Zayra at this point, even though her voice was terrible, her stage shows appalling, her outfits revolting, her flat-chested flaunting... what am I talking about I don't miss her at all. Loved Dilana's fall from grace this week, though it was great.
Lukas Rossi for sure is better than these guys (www.lukas-rossi.com download "Who am I", it's a killer track), as is Ryan. Dilana should win it though - she's just as bad as they are.

Yea man, Lukas Rossi gotta win this, i feel he is one talented freakin dude and he would be able to suit the band. I really just hooked on the show cause of his Rebel Yell performance on the first episode, it ROCKED!!

Newstead comes off very well on the show actually - intelligent, articulate, and not at all like he's a desperate middle-aged rocker clutching at straws to be hip, which is what people would assume. Just don't listen to the first track they performed. It sucks ass. And Lukas does rock - but I don't want him fronting Supernova, he can do better.

Gilby Clarke, i like as a solo artist, but one of the luckiest men in showbiz who just 'fell' into the greatest job in the world in 1990.

Jason Newstead, also quickly picked to be Cliff Burtons replacement in Metallica, replacing a popular band member on the bands rise in popularity

Tommy Lee - a dickhead

does anyone really believe these people can pull off being in a band together? My perdicition, Tommy will leave after just one album and barely the American leg of the tour (sure he even bolloxed his hand playin wit da Crue in Canada late last year), theyll get a B-Card player or maybe a C-Card player as a replacement and produce a subpar 2nd album. IF theres a 3rd, and thats a big IF, i wouldnt expect to see anything special about it

I'd expect Jason to be the first to leave actually. The fact that he wears a Voivoid t-shirt every night and said in interviews that so long as voivoid got exposure through this, he was happy, shows this is just a side project to him. Tommy has Crue touring, solo stuff, now this, but I think he's more likely to keep this going than Jason.
