Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I was watching the Barca v Sevilla game. I thought Barca were very borning to watch. I always find myself turning off after a while. They play nice football, but they are so slow at times going forward. They have a few world class players in the side. I don't think Ronaldinho was that great last season and durning the world cup he like Brazil were disappointing. It maybe just me, but i think that ronaldinho is slightly over rated. I think he's a good player, but always looking for that perfect pass, a little trick etc.

I noticed sevilla were sponsered by 888.com, but Freddie Kanoute had the the first two 88 covered with what looked like white tape? He could also have had the third, but when i noticed it was only the first two with what looked like white tape.

Anyone have any idea's what that was all about :( maybe its something to do with his religon

Yes - he's a Muslim, so probably objects to being sponsored by a company promoting gambling. still taking the wages though !!

Ronnie was class last season and i wacthed every game the guy played, but towards the end of season he was ****ed, he was rested for 2 games that i know off and then went to WC. Hes only young so still yet to reach his peak, his transfer fee makes people forget that.

Forget all this Barca talk, what about Sevilla? An absolutely fantastic result and thoroughly deserved. Dani Alves is super, despite having tthe angriest head since Steve Carr.

They dominated from start to finish with Navas, Escude and Kanoute all influential. Delighted when Maresca came on and banged the peno in, and when my favourite player Puerta showed just what a talent he is.

barca were terrible, but sevilla played to they're strenghts really well. they have a super fast side, especially on the right, navas is one of my favourate players of the last year or so, he's great to watch and links up great with alves.

sevilla are a good little team though, like the west ham of la liga, great to watch.

I think it was 100% down to confidence. I didn't see him smile once in the CL final and the only time he looked happy at the WC was against Japan. He just wasn't himself and couldn't handle the pressure of millions expecting him to do something magic every time he had the ball. He's still the best player in the world by far though imo.

Can you see now what quality Dani Alves is, Sevilla are a quality team, top 4 in Spain easily.

Ronaldinho is the most entertaining footballer in the world

i only noticed the 888.com after i saw him with it half blocked out, so maybe its doing them a favour

I too watched almost every game Ronaldinho played last season and I thought he was phenomenal for Barca, I would say it was the best I've ever seen from him. Yes as everyone has said the WC was very disappointing but his play for Barca is always fantastic. Not over-rated at all.
