Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

OP, it really depends on what you are after. Light and mobile is one thing but price and usage are important to. I spent the last three months looking at lap tops. I finally went for the sony SZ2. I was holding out to make sure I got the best I could and then that bloody Dual 2 core chip was released

Regardless of my hurting I went for the Sony because:

I could add a 3 year NBD warranty.
It is light at 1.6 kg and that suits my running around airports/ireland.
It is very powerful with good GFX.
The screen while small but at a very good resoloution is still very, very good. 13.3 inches. It's amazing actually.
It has an inbuilt DVD drive/burner.

So far my only issue, even though it is not really an issue yet, is that it only has two USB ports. They are quite expensive to and you are probably paying for the Sony name.

Basicaly it is harder than you think to recommened a lap top unless you have a really good idea of what you want/need. I based my first one on screen size and very quickly regretted it. You would be surprised how heavy a 15.4 inch lap top can become running through and airport.

Tosh by the way are like the Toyota of lap tops. Meant to be of a very good build quality and they do them in small as well.
