If you back Miami +4.5 at 1.862 then to have an even win either way
you would be looking at placing 416 Euro at 1.862 (5/6 ish)
to give you 774.60 less 416 stake is profit 358.60 for Miami win.

Pitts win
Have 850 at 1.91 (mansion) gives you 773.50 less 416 (stake Miami)
357.50 profit.

Now if we could only find somewhere that was giving Miami +5.5 ;)

Why +5.5? Miami +5.5 is 1.806 atm (higher than I expected) but I who do you want that? :) Unless you placed the Pittsburgh bet when they were -5.0 with Mansion, did you?

30% of their casino and sportsbook net wins

I assume that's 30% of the CASINO'S win?

For example, if I gave you £20 through Neteller to open an account with Mansion with. You get a free £20 bet and I make a £25 profit straight away (if they place the bet that is).

If you want to do that, I'll do it.
Haven't placed the bet yet :)

Why +5.5?
Becasue if you could get Pitts -4.5 and Miami +5.5 (both at 1.88 ish)
and Pitts WIN BY 5
YOU WIN BOTH BETS! :D

Ok this sounds pretty interesting, but one question. In the terms and conditions for this bet it states:

"The withdrawal of any promotion funds will be subject to MANSION withdrawal policy"

Can anyone please expand on this, I know from regestring with online poker sites that you can not just withdraw winnings based on a promotion and close your acc. There is usually some catch..i.e. have to play a certain no. of hands, or keep the acc. open for a certain period of time. I find it very difficult to believe that (if the steelers win) you can just cash out straight away

right now I can only withdraw my affliate funds once a month. I'm trying to link my affliate account with my mansion account but the live chat haven't a clue about it and they take a while to respond to e-mails. If I had £20 in my neteller account I'd have no problem doing this but I've no way of funding my account right now. :)

Good point. :) Definitely the best option at the current prices.

I think every possible question has been answered now in this thread but I suppose it's getting pretty big now. :)

Anyone else doing/done the moneybookers route? I came across the following terms below:

We will charge your card for a random verification fee between EUR 1.01 - 2.99 .

You must then check your card statement for the exact transaction amount and enter it into the 'verify credit/debit card' section of your Moneybookers profile.

Upon completion, the verification fee will be refunded to your Moneybookers account and your card will be verified with an upload limit of 500.00 EUR in any 60 day period.

Due to processing restrictions we cannot refund this transaction back to your card.

My upload limit is 2,000 but I have a moneybookers account a while now. Just deposit €500 with moneybookers and €350 with Credit Card. It's a bit of a coincidence that both limits add up to €850. :)

Seems to be a few charges going the Moneybookers route.
Or if u have 2 credit cards as said before do 700 and 150 moneybookers

2.5% fee to upload funds to gamebookers. 2.5% of 500 is €12.50. That's the only charge.

The person has to deposit before I get any money. Affliate's are all done in GBP£ for some reason. When my affliate deposits at least £20 I get £35. Whenever they use the Sportsbook, Sports Exchange, Poker or Casino for the 1st time I get £10 for each one. Which means I could easily make £75 per person. Then I get 30% of their casino and sportsbook net wins.

Is it just me or has anybody else read the above and said to themselves
that's a large amount of money to give somebody just to plug a site?
So for ever person an affliate gets to deposit 20 Euro, he gets 35
Sounds like you need to ring/e-mail/text every mate you have and tell them you'll give them a free 25 deposit (you'll get 35 back!)
Then you'll give them another 5 free to play/bet with on each of the 4 different headings above (you'll get 10 back!)
AND THEN YOU GET 30% of any winnings Mansion make!

Isn't that a bit too generous?

Also charge to withdraw by bank transfer or withdraw to Visa card of 1.80.

Yes but I presume everyone will just withdraw from their Mansion account straight onto their credit card.

As for the affliate thing. If I can link my Mansion account to my affliate account (you have to set up 2 seperate accounts apparantly they can be linked) I'll certainly be giving away free bets to anyone that wants it. :) If I can't link them it'll be too awkward.

You can't get a refund to a Mastercard only Visa.

Hey, ill be using mastercard, how will this affect me?

• Registered Users Posts: 10,622 ✭✭✭✭okidoki987

For starters you'll only be able to deposit 350 Euro using credit card.
They will have to send a bank transfer or cheque to you.

• Closed Accounts Posts: 14,013 ✭✭✭✭eirebhoy

Just withdraw to your bank account, same thing really.

I can deposit E350 direct to manison using my Creditcard.
Then deposit E500 to my moneybookers account using my same credit card and transfer that 500 from moneybookers to manison.

Will that work?

From reading the Moneybookers FAQ it seem bank transfer is the easiset for depositing money. You can transfer the cash into a BOI a/c in Dublin. It doesn't say anywhere that there is a limit and once you use a bank a/c they raise your send limit to €5k.
Option 2: Identity verification by verifying your bank account!

Duration: 2-3 days
Outgoing transaction limit/in any 90 day period increase: 5000 EUR
Simply upload funds to your Moneybookers account from a bank account held in your name and we will credit this amount to your user balance and increase your transaction limits. You can transfer any amount of your choice (Recommended minimum: EUR 5).

I'd try and get in it now if i was you. I presume the reason they are pulling it now is to see if their are any injuries to the steelers players. If there is they will pull the offer.

PITTSBURGH (AP) - Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger had an emergency appendectomy after becoming ill before practice on Sunday and will miss Thursday's NFL season opener against Miami.

Coach Bill Cowher said Roethlisberger will be evaluated each week, and he was not certain how long the quarterback will be out.
Charlie Batch, the former Detroit Lions starter who was 2-0 as a fill-in last season when Roethlisberger hurt his knee, will start against the Dolphins in the NFL's first game of the season.

The appendix attack is yet another medical setback for Roethlisberger, who nearly died in a June 12 motorcycle accident only to make a remarkably fast recovery. He missed no practice time during training camp and played better in the preseason than he did a year ago before leading the Steelers to their first Super Bowl victory in 26 years.

Roethlisberger missed four games last season because of knee injuries, one that required surgery, and injured his right thumb late in the season. He later said he broke it, though the Steelers never have confirmed that, but he missed no playing time because of that injury.

There goes your bets lads. I'd say the lads over at Mansion came in their pants when they heard this.

All the bookies have pulled the match now. If the odds come back up, they will be terrible. hopefully some of you decided to hedge already.

You can still get Miami at +4.5 on betfair at 1.69. However the straight win is still 2.22. I'd take the risk if it was me.
