    Hi,

Looking at a second hand 00 reg car at the moment. It passed NCT last month; but on the test results beside emissions it has just "N/A" instead.

Why is this, does anyone know? If the car wasn't emission tested why did it pass?

    Beside both.

    The car is a petrol.

Look at the top - it should give a Test Number or similar - if it reads 2 or higher, that could be the result from a retest you're looking at. Possibly passed the emissions on the first test.

This happened me again with another car the other day; "N/A" on the test cert beside Emissions.

99 Civic, petrol, only one test. Anyone figure out what it is yet? NCT won;t etll me.

Is there a heading "smoke"? Smoke is only tested for diesels, afaik.

Nope, nothing like that. It looks exactly like a regular emission test results.

This is baffling me at this point.
