Renting a car in the UK with < 1 year full licence

    Hi all,

I am thinking about travelling over to the UK and renting a car in November. At that stage I will have had my full licence for 7 months. I am 26.

All the UK car rental sites that I have visited (easycar, enterprise, hertz etc.) specify a minimum of 1 year's licence to rent a car.

Does anyone know of any companies that do not have this condition, or if there is some way round it? (i.e. a waiver or premium that can be paid).

In the same boat as yourself. Have only had full licence for 8 months.

I rented a car in spain by going through Dollar Rent a Car who got me a car through a local provider Crown car hire.
