Man United Membership - Tickets

Ok, I feared for my life to ask this question in the tickets thread. But if I sign up for membership, how likely am I to get tickets? Can I only get one ticket for myself?

The likelyhood of you getting tickets for any match bar Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea and Mancity are good. You can only apply for one ticket per membership.

So if a mate of mine joined up how would we go about getting two side by side tickets? What are the chances of getting tickets to the United v Celtic game? Home or Away.

myself and a mate have signed up, and in the last 2 weeks, we have applied for the arsenal, celtic and the newcastle game, when you select the game you want to apply for, it gives the option to enter number of tickets you want and then you just enter the second member ship number. it will be hard to get tickets for most of the games until end of october, as there all pretty big games. im hopeful of 2 tickets for the celtic and newcastle game. it generally works in such a way that you are notified via email 2 weeks beforehand if your rejected, if no email received, then you check your account to see if the money has been taken. it does not give much time for flights, but thats the way it goes, suppose the system is really designed for fans that can just get up and go to games without needing much effort put into travel.

As stated by homerjay it can be done as he explained. However when we apply we all apply for singles. History has told us that applying for matches in numbers usually decreases your chances of getting any tickets where as applying for 1 ticket increases your chances. It does mean that you won't get them side by side.

For example. Me my and 3 of my mates applied for the AC Milan match a couple of seasons ago. I sent in a single application while my mates put their three in together. I got a ticket while my mates got snubbed.

Away tickets are offered to season ticket holders iirc.

I registered for One United, but unfortunately the account still hasn't been verified yet and I can't seem to log in. Does anyone know why this would be?
