Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The man, the footballer, the legend.
Although he probably doesn't warrant a place as a legend of boards I think he definately warrants one as A Legend of the Soccer board.
Please feel free to find and post any links to clips of this great man. A true entertainer.

Jimmy Bullard 3rd eye Soccer AM

James "Jimmy" Bullard (born October 23, 1978) is a professional footballer who currently plays as a central midfielder for Fulham.

Bullard spent his early career playing for Gravesend & Northfleet before signing for West Ham United. He was released by West Ham United in 2001 and after a three-week trial was handed a three year contract at Peterborough. He played only one full season at Posh before signing for Wigan Athletic in March 2003 for £275,000, Bullard quickly established himself in the first team and helped them secure promotion to the Premiership in 04/05.

Bullard continued his good form in the top division and was linked with a move to Liverpool and Arsenal. In fact, so good is his form, Bullard is being talked about as a player of international calibre. Currently he is awaiting the call from either England or Germany, as he qualifies for the latter through his grandmother. Bullard was reported by the BBC to be contemplating an international call-up from Germany, having made his interest known to national coach Jurgen Klinsmann.[1]

On Saturday February 11, 2006 Bullard was honoured by Sky's morning football show Soccer AM. Due to the fact that they felt he had become one of the top entertainers in the Premiership, by running the length of the pitch attempting to score when the floodlights went out during Wigan's League Cup semi-final home leg against Arsenal and leapfrogging a pile of players in a goal mouth scramble, they decided to name the studio doors after the Wigan man. They are now known as Jimmy Bullard's Back Door.

On 28th April 2006 it was announced Bullard would sign for Fulham at the end of the 2005/06 season after a £2.75 million offer from the London club triggered a release clause in his contract.

Bullard has already become a cult figure at Fulham with his high work rate, skills and charisma. His first goal for Fulham came against Bolton when he scored a last minute penalty to level the scores at 1-1. Three days later, he scored an amazing free kick against Sheffield United in a 1-0 win

    PRICELESS

On his official website he has a whole section dedicated to David Hasslehoff claiming that all Germans love him, although it was revealed in his interview with the Guardian that this was a joke

Yeah absolute legend. Was at Craven Cottage a few weeks back and was keeping my eyes peeled for someone cycling around on a fold-up bike! His diary is sheer entertainment, especially during the World Cup. He gets up to some legendary stuff.
Has he ever had a mullet? "No, no, no, no, no," he says, a little too insistently. "When it gets long, it gets curly and it's all over the gaff. I looked a bit like Jimmy Bullard, and if you're close to Jimmy Bullard's haircut that must be a stinker."

I can see the sparks flying already!
