Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Well I'm getting my junior cert results ina few weeks, and I'm planning on going to some sort of disco for it. But i REALLY don't know what to wear!! usually I just wear a miniskirt and skimpy top, but I'd prefer to look more sophisticated and fashionable for this night. Does anyone have any adivce on what look to go for?

    Thanks.

Its hard to give advice on what to wear without knowing you and what you're into:)
The main thing is to dress for your age and not to try too hard.
How about wearing a nice pair of jeans, high heels and a dressy top [that isn't too skimpy]?

You've plenty of time to have a look around the shops before the big night...

You've just done your junior cert and your parents let you leave the house dressed like that?
    Jesus.

Dresses don't usually go down well at discos. I'd say go for a skirt (around knee length or a little longer) and a nice top, 'cause you don't want to go OTT as most people will be rather casually dressed.

Or as Scraggs said, jeans and a top.

Well she's more likely to get a better opinion from fellow-JC posters there

no, it shouldn't. This is clearly a fasshion and appearance topic. Her replies don't have to be from other junior cert students, anyone can have an opinion on what she should wear. I would second the nice fitted jeans, nice dressy top and boots.

Best advice really is just to go in something you like.

Yeah go with something you like yourself!! Don't dress too old either, your still young!! Definiteley stay away from the micro minis unless you want to look like every other girl at the disco!!! :)
I like the idea of a nice dress!! Not too sophisticated though!!
What about a nice pair of city shorts?? Not the really short ones but the ones that go down to your knees?? A nice dressy top and a pair of stilletoes?? :)
