If you check the yellow pages for a galvaniser you will get one. It will not be cheap. And you will have to remove all plasitc/rubber form the case. As to chrome something it requires very hot liquid tin ( i think ) about 300c. They are usually found on most industrial estates. Im gonna check google for you and see if i can find any for you

Chroming has nothing to do with galvanization.

Galvanization involves the application of zinc. Chroming involves the application of copper, nickel, and chrome layers in that order.

Correct me if I'm wrong on any of that.

Quite right there tom. I believe galvanisation is just the application of an oxide layer to the outside of the piece to stop it from rusting. however it usually is one of the (final) steps involved in chroming something so as was said you would be safe to look up galvaniser in the golden pages. even if he cannot do it he will give you the number of someone who can. if you cant find anything just ring a motorcycle specialist and they could give you the number to they're chromer
